I wonder who all we'll be seeing as non-Krakoan guests at the Gala this year. We already know the Avengers are coming, and we've seen Romeo there as Bobby's date. There is apparently a Gala tie-in in this year's AMAZING SPIDER-MAN ANNUAL, so presumably Spider-Man or some of his supporting cast will be in attendance.

I am hoping to see Starfox of the Eternals at the Gala. During "AXE" he was making deals with Sebastian Shaw for how Krakoa and the Eternals could combine resources for certain projects to aid humanity, and Eros worked closely with Krakoa in the "Judgement Day" crisis. Seems like he'd earn an invite.

I'm not buying it or reading it. Most of the X-Men I read for decades wouldn't be caught dead dressed like that, and some of them, like Bobby, would spend their time mocking and ridiculing anyone who would.

It's like Nightcrawler creating a 'mutant' religion, as if his deep faith was now nothing more than once-fashionable attire, fit to be discarded and replaced.

I don't know who these people are but they are certainly not 'the' X-Men, not the real ones anyway. They don't even rise to a good passable imitation.
