Question Need Help with writing here

Hello I have come here to ask for something when it comes to writing

For context for a while i have been writing for a wacky centric themed idea that involves a clown car named Funnybone that goes around fighting crime with outlandish cities and crazy crooks and criminals and i would like for it be a comic book one day…. i have been able to write alot of stuff i feel rather proud of despite being a bit of a novice.

however i have sort of hit a form of writers block with no way to continue the theming of things being wacky and cartoony. I do take lenghty breaks to cool off from coming up with ideas when i feel its time too.

In short i have slowed down from not doing it as much as i used too that is a shame because i did enjoy doing it writing the characters in as stupid situations.

in result i decided it would be wise of me to ask of some writing assistance whether it be a person to write with or somewhere to look to help get some ideas or something else if that was possible until i start to feel more confident.
ya see the thing with humor is that it could either be real funny or completley terrible, the nightmare comes with everyone thinking your unfunny.

I once read that making up limericks can help with writer's block.

If you want to come up with wacky scenarios, learn about things that are wacky. If the main hero is a clown, how familiar is he with the circus?

Check out stories in other media made in other countries to see the kinds of storytelling tools at your disposal that other writers might not have glommed onto yet.
    Sincerely,
    Thomas Mets
