I hope the new Superman film doesn't attempt to reinvent the wheel. We certainly don't need another retelling of his origin. It seems that's not the direction the new movie is taking, but I'm cautious they might include unnecessary elements. Additionally, I hope they avoid being overly ambitious by introducing too many characters and locations, which could overwhelm the narrative.
