    I really liked Yelena in Thompson's Black Widow run but since that ended we haven't really seen her so Im intrigued to find out what she has been up to in the meantime. I hope they keep her personality of being more ruthless than Natasha and having no patience for bullshit of any kind.

    Hoping we get something as good as the Widowmakers 1 shot and the Winter Guard LS.
    All I wanted was to be unconditionally loved while never having to work on my flaws. Is that so much to ask?

    Ah, exciting! Always wanted a solo for Yelena and ever since they actually handed her the ‘White Widow’ title, I had a feeling this would be coming. It’s great way to distinguish her own corner of the universe.

    The cover is lovely. Great gowns, beautiful gowns

    Sarah's an indie writer with quite a few comics on her belt. ALESSANDRO MIRACOLO did a bunch of Marvel star wars books, and they looked lovely. This has every chance for being a very cool widow story

    Also, what's a WHITE WIDOW? That's perhaps what irks me most about the seemingly arbitrary assignment of a color plus a noun in most cases: At least BLACK WIDOW refers to a spider...

    In most cases it's a lower cost in terms of trades.

    Or the writer only needs 4 issues to tell a story.

    I think it's trade cost that is pushing this more than anything.

    That's what I am talking about. I know she is wearing the mask. Since she is Destroyer now then wear a new black and red design.

    I haven't seen Yelena since Tales of Suspense with Bucky and Hawkeye. Did she have a redemption arc?
