Default Crazy things your local movie theatres did to stay alive during Covid?

Covid rates were low in Australia 2020-21 but the lockdowns were tight.

Crazy things my local cinemas did include :

35th anniversary screenings of Howard the duck(!). Not sure if these were screened due to strict, snap lockdowns.

Drive-ins made a bit of a comeback. One had a "Quarantino" festival, showing lots of Q Tarantino films

My old hometown cinema showed old stuff like Predator (1987!) and held on to movies like Sonic the hedgehog and Invisible man for months, even when they were available on DVD...

What crazy things did your local movie house do?

my local theater did a bunch of snack sales outside the theaters. Order online and pickup curbside. Did lots of Popcorn runs out there.

Theatres showed what little crap they could get. New mutants got a cinema release here as did a dubbed German animated film about dragons with Patrick Stewart as the bad guy...
