Default X MEN DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. DOOMSDAY. Summary - Spoilers and meh.

    Well.

Issue begins with the preview set in year 28.

We see Banshee Angel Cyke die.

But then everything get morbid. Kate and Colossus sons die a Sentinel killed them.

Then we cut to the beggining - We see Destiny killing Kelly and Stryker elected as president Daredevil tried to stop in court the Mutant Control act to happen.
By Year 11 the Sentinels walk in earth as a regular folk.

Then in Year 18. The Avengers Disbanded in solidarity with Mutankind so Stryker creates "The Defenders" with

    Captain Murica Walker
    Iron Monger
    Titania
Nitro > This fella must hate Stamford

So the Civil War gimmick happen and StamFord goes Boom.

After that Stryker declares Martial Law

and a some weird caval forms with

    Valerie Cooper
    Henry Gryrich
    Wilson Fisk
    Simon Trask

So we get a Scene with Captain Rogers versus Trask in Tv - and we cut to Avengers Mansion where Spidey fails to make a statement and is killed by a mob.
    Then we start the plan.

Storm - Cyclops and Rogue? go to Shield to ask about the Brotherhood schemes. And they stop almost all of them...

    Sans Mags and Mastermind..

Rachel Wolvie and Xavier go after him and that is inclocuse for this issue.

Then cut to Kate Jean and Scott..

    Mastermind is with the nukes.

He try to temper Jean and well he gets it

Jean "Burn" him and then she charge the Nukes.. Sooo Yikes...

Jean Offer to stay behind and try to control the bomb

didnt Work she is dead and Scott Eyeless.

And so it begins this "mini" where every hope is lost.

Score: 4/10 > Is Weird is like a rush version of what happen but also is kinda bad and weird Maybe this mini should have been written by Claremont. after all is his story so

The original DofP said Xavier was assassinated along with Kelly. A New Mutants issue said he actually really died later when fed agents killed him when Rachel was a child. This weeks issue shows Xavier alive when Rachel is a young adult

Stryker being the DofP president retcons his first appearance to that panel in DofP of the evil mustached president who actually doesn't even look like Stryker much. Had always assumed that guy was graydon creed myself, but the stryker element works better to reflect real religious influence on politics

Still no conflict with Wolverine Days of Future Past miniseries... yet

I just skimmed this book, doubt I will buy issue 2. Normally I like these AU stories, world building, history subversions. This one felt to focused on the grim details and lacked elegance to draw you in. Didn’t get to form any attachments to any particular character either.

I'm curious whether they'll remember that Magneto ending up in a wheelchair is already depicted in the earlier 1990s prequel Wolverine: Days of Future Past and any depiction of that here will contradict it unless they depict the same scenes that miniseries did.

How about Ahab? I don't think it's ever been explained how Rory Campbell became Ahab really, in the main universe Apocalypse just showed up one day and turned him into Ahab. Is that going to happen in this DoFP prequel too?

I have a few questions please:

    1) What do you mean by year 28, 11, 18? Do they give what century or year it takes place?

    2) Is Jean wearing her Phoenix costume?
