Shhhh. The less said about his and Janet's alt future romance and daughter the better. Just thinking about that whole plot makes my head hurt. I am looking forward to this version of the Unity Squad though. One of only 3 titles I'm planning on getting from Marvel in the near future along with She-Hulk and Alpha Flight. I've dropped all of my other Marvel titles.

That Blob might not be our Blob, just as that Andreas Strucker seems to be a different person than the one we saw as the Swordsman in Kurt Busiek's Thunderbolts (without all that development, and the whole possibly-raped-by-Purple-Man trauma, and back to being a Nazi again, I guess his dad resurrected him without all that 'reformed borderline good-guy now?' baggage).

Bingo. After Andreas was killed as Swordsman the resurrection of the Fenris Twins was arranged by Baron Strucker. There's no way Strucker would be interested in bringing his son back semi-reformed, so he would doubtless have arranged for some 're-programming' to be done when he was being revived.

Yeah exactly the thing I thought as well, while reading War College and seeing this now. They completely seem to have erased that period of his 'career'.
