I heard Nolan blew up a real atomic bomb during shooting the movie. He has my attention and curiosity.

I love cillian murphy since his Peaky Blinders days and I am happy he is getting more leading roles in Hollywood.

Wonderful to see Robert Downey JNR in a big budget movie again not playing Iron Man in a MCU film.

He didn't create an atomic explosion, he used a bunch of regular old TNT to create a mushroom cloud.

They both release on the same day. So the film fans made a thing about choosing one to go see.

It started as a joke meme because both films release on the same day but are almost complete opposites. People jumped on and now it's an actual marketing thing. Finny enough, Barbie is actually doing better in presales than Oppenheimer, so the latter need this boost.

Ad to the topic, Barbie, easily. I have absolutely no desire to see Oppenheimer.

I am going to see Barbie. It looks goofy, campy, and a lot of fun.

Yeah, but which one should people see first?? Will there be a team "Barbheimers" v. team "Oppenbies"?! Will we get a limited edition "Oppenheimer Barbie" with her wearing a pink version of Opp's outfit? (complete with big pink mushroom cloud) ... or will that be going too far?

Oppenheimer seems to be over 1 hour longer so I'd choose Barbie in the middle of the summer day and Oppenheimer to leave in the middle of the night.

For me two months ago I wasn't interested in either. But I am defiantly going to see Oppenheimer now. I saw the trailers when I saw Indiana Jones and it hooked me.

I just love that culture has made this random occurence a thing. It's interesting how we keep ourselves entertained.
