I'd say based on the evidence at hand... Moria's defection is not without provocation or cause because Raven and Irene set Moria up to be captured by Orchis!

it was not because of raven and destiny that moira was captured, it was the hordeculture who worked with orchis who detected moira when she went through the krakoan gate to go to paris to get a croissant and a coffee.

moira was tortured by raven and destiny and now she wants to exterminate all mutants for that? especially since moira was about to betray krakoa with her vaccine.
Moira has been tortured and killed by humans and machines and has seen mutants die in her first eight lives but no problem no hard feelings against them she works with...it's just really bad percy writing don't look any further.
