I don't think it's going to matter much beyond a design perspective.

I wonder how they'll make the monsters a genuine threat to a stacked JL. (esp the Big 7) or what the story will be in general. I don't think kaiju should stand much of a chance under normal situations. It might be a bit of a challenge, but nothing they don't normally take care of before breakfast.

Wouldn’t be surprised if the Legion of Doom come across King Ghidorah and that becomes the main villain team up.

Agreed - or at least I hope so. It's just hard for me to separate these designs from the films, and GvK is my most hated film of all time (and I'm a huge Godzilla and King Kong fan, so for a movie with both to be my most hated film really speaks to how bad it was for me - kills me not to love a movie with those two clashing in it).
