I was looking up Golden Age Sub Mariner villain Shark (SM #23 1947, retroactively Invaders Annual# 1) online when I found another SM villain in the same 1947 Dr. Pill??? That's got to be top contender for most unimaginative character name ever. Anyway, Dr. Phil, uh, PILL, had Namor drink a growth serum turning the Prince of Atlantis into a giant. Then Namor made Dr. Pill give him the antidote. The End.

Not that it makes it any better of a story or character, unless you like seeing a giant sized Namor striding around like Godzilla, but the character's name was Dr. Dill, not Pill. What can you say. It was the Golden Age.
