Dang. I take a nap and wake up to this! I want to be really happy about this, but I’m not too happy about the writer and also faruka being apart of the team instead of Donna and, Artemis, and Cassie. DC really half ass things.

Okay fuck I'll be optimistic and hope this turns out good in spite of the existing quibbles.

Who knows maybe Campbell will be able to craft a serviceable narrative that she's no longer confined to backups, tie-ins, or in Shazam's case setting up a status quo that was already irrelevant by the time her book ended.

I'll say she really is attached to Mary, I guess she doesn't want all the work she did with the character to go to waste after Billy came back as the main Shazam.

It is a shame Cassie or Artemis is not in this. Donna I get cause she's currently in Titans but the former 2 aren't really doing anything at the moment so their totally free.

Amazons Attack is a terrible name for an ongoing.
Sensation Comics, Wonder Women or Nubia and the Amazons would have been much better.
Plus the writer and the exclusion of Cassie and Artemis over Mary Marvel don't fill me with hope.
Seems like another missed opportunity from the WW office, much like Trial of the Amazons.

Let’s not jump the gun until issues come out or at least the interviews for this do.
For all we know, Cassie or Artemis could be recruited for this in the 2nd issue.
Or this team is out together to rescue Artemis or Cassie from the government.

Yeah because the last time DC did an Amazons Attack event it went so well. People still talk about how much they loved that one. NOT. I really cannot believe they are doing this again. Bleh.
