What's the reason for josie campbell writing WW?

Like, does she even have real interest in the character? Because based on her writing, it doesn't look like it. If she is not that interested in WW, why is she writing more projects about her? It is not like anybody is forcing her to accept. What's the tea here?

She wants to write Mary Marvel and editors are ok with her being featured in WW's comics.

At the expense of WW and her lore? The titles she is currently writing aren't called mary. They are called WW, Amazons attack etc. She shouldn't use WW's space to give the spotlight to another character that is not part of WW's lore.

Hardly the first time a writers been pulled in to do a filler story while writing duties trade hands.
Im guessing given the nature of this event they were given an outline about working in Justice League Dark and they jumped at the chance to play with Detective Chimp and Constantine.

I will say, I love the art on this. Id not mind seeing the artist popping up again on Wonder Woman.

Then they better make sure that Diana is more powerful and more important than them, if they will become part of her lore. Because she is far more iconic, and comercially successful woirldwide, from comic sales, to movies and merch sales. They have no bussiness taking the center stage from Diana.

I don't think that's it at all. Just seems like what happened during the New52 and Rebirth (James Robinson), with Wonder Woman and the New Gods. DC tried really hard to make the New Gods a thing in Wonder Woman. Now it looks like they're doing it with Shazam.
