I'm also happy they seemingly didn't MAKE her a mutant via whatever means but apparently she always was. I guess they'll explain how her Inhuman genes masked her from Cerebro or something, but I'm just glad she wasn't turned into a mutant by external means.

She probably wasn't masked from Cerebro, and that's how Emma found out she was a mutant. Knowing about the Champions, she told Scott, and then they made plans to tell her, but didn't get chance before she was killed. The good news is, though, it means they didn't need to use a time traveller to grab a memory backup.

I wonder how late her memory scan was taken - will she still remember that Peter Parker is Spider-Man?

I guess she's like Spider-Woman, Jessica Drew. Traditionally an Avengers character, just like Kamala, but was adopted by the Spider office for Spider-Verse. As such she's had appreciation threads in both the Marvel and Spider-Man sections.

It looks like she's part of an X-Men team as of this Summer, and will be officially confirmed as a mutant/Inhuman hybrid next week, so I say she more than deserves a thread on the X-books forum.
