I don't think it'll be Morrison. I get the feeling it'll be written by someone currently writing for the X-office and the more I think the more I think it's Ewing.

If it is an -:|A|:- team what do we think prompts him to form it?

have little to assume that the fact that krakoa is not done against orchis prefer to drink beers at the lagoon bar while he was with his family on amenth, to come back to earth and see sentries everywhere would be a good reason to create his own team I think.
Not to mention the problems that this woman causes on arakko.

No he's not, Torunn Gronbekk is just taking over Ram V's half of the book since he went exclusive with DC. It'll be a similar switching off every few issues arrangement (not sure if it will be the same split of Al - Eddie, Torunn - Dylan or not). (Confirmed on Torunn's Twitter)

It sounds like Al Ewing will still be pretty busy in the coming months between Immortal Thor, Avengers Inc., Venom (co-writing) and X-Men Red so I don't really see him writing an additional X-title... unless New X-Men replaces X-Men Red.

Although between Red and Immortal I think it's this latter title that has the biggest chances to morph into something else given all the changes happening around Krakoa.

Kinda fitting since Ewing is a big fan of Morrison's New X-Men (he brought back the Quitely look for Sunspot in X-Men Red after all).

I wonder why we're getting a sneak peek in November specifically, if it's because we would be getting the solicits for when this New X-Men book debuts or if there's a narrative reason perhaps...

This teaser feels a bit unnecessary as it’s so early and there’s not much to go on. That being said, I really hope this isn’t an Apocalypse-led team unless it’s a villain team. I’m not interested in more neutering/worshipping of Apocalypse - it’s already tainted Rictor and Betsy in this era.

We have had a few solicits lately that have done this, specifically with the death and life of Ms Marvel. So this will probably be a Ms Marvel book (and notice that her upcoming limited series ends in November).
