Peter David's Aquaman and Supergirl belong on this list for sure.

    My only addition would be...

    The Batman Adventures

Agreed. I think Supergirl is better regarded than Superboy or Kyle Rayner’s series.

If I'm honest, during the 1990s, my most favourite long running title (running all through the 1990s) was THE SANDMAN. I may not be as big a fan of it now, but it was the comic I most looked forward to consistently at that time. Whether they would consider this a solo title I don't know.

    ^^^Totally agree.

I’m glad Superboy made the list; when I was sent to Panama it was the one book I collected that was actually sold at the Post Exchange.

    Agreed.

I'd add The Power of Shazam to the list.

I'm assuming this doesn't include Vertigo titles. If it did I'd add Sandman, Sandman Mystery Theatre and Shade the Changing Man to my list.

Spectre should be there too. I personally would not include Green Lantern (never thought the writing was very good), Green Arrow, Robin, Nightwing or Impulse.

Supergirl is number 1. And then Spectre, Flash, Firestorm etc...of course only if we are not counting Vertigo stuff

Kyle Rayner's Green Lantern was popular, but in regard to quality -- not top 10 material. Offhand, books that superior to it in quality include Spectre, Aquaman, Supergirl (though it went up over its run), and even Chase. The 90s is a very long period -- and I usually correction: disagree with just about every list CBR posts.

Hopefully this counts, but my next choice would be...

    Hitman

Yeah, I don't understand Green Lantern being so high.

There were a lot of great solo series in the 90s with a lot of creative writers for sure.
