Yeah, that's what I'm really excited about. Kinda like how back in AvX Gillen's tie-ins managed to explain away some of the inconsistencies of the main event's plot.

It just occurred to me...isn't this the second time Xavier believed an Orchis agent and got royally screwed? You would think he would have learnt from that first fatal mistake when he and Maggie were fighting OS and Nimrod in Hickman's Inferno?

Gillen has written a very nuanced Charles Xavier and this looks like we'll get even more. Nice.

I think that was suppose to be the Magneto was right moment. Xavier basically throwing mutants to the wolves to save humans though i take it magneto wasn't thinking of it happening so literally. Granted i'm of the i don't blame xavier camp but i think the story is saying it's his fault.

I think he and Magneto did not get to keep to those memories, since their backups were older. I remember Xavier specifically made the deal so they could survive and remember that Moira was missing/not at the Orchis base. But then they died.

He and magneto died without being backed up in that fight, so hebhas no memories of what happened there.
