Anyway, at first I wasn't really Interested reading about the Children of the Corn. But, NOW I am.

I wonder are they going to Join Orchis....

This looks and reads really good.
Seeing as how the CotV have their own thoughts and designs on mutants and humanity...it would be coolz if they ally with mutants to get rid of the Orchis filth.

My two concerns.

A) That doesnt look like Kid Cable that was captured. He looks like adult Cable.

B) Serafina was not captured in the dream and she LET Forge escape.

That doesnt look like Kid Cable that was captured. He looks like adult Cable.

Precisely my concern! There’s no way Duggan didn’t intend to have Kid Cable be the one who gets captured by Orchis in X-men #24. He is Kid Cable’s creator after all, and he also had the Belle A.I. program in that issue (which his older self gifted him before sending him back to the future to complete his arc in Cable #12).

So… if editorial allowed Deniz Camp and Luca Maresca to believe they were writing about and illustrating adult Cable when in actuality it’s supposed to be Kid Cable… well, that would be just piss poor on their part! Talk about being asleep at the switch. There’s no way that’s the case and surely this gets addressed somewhere in this issue.

Depending on how aware the Vault/City/OMNITRONICUS is of the simulation that caught the first wave, the Serafina who let Forge escape might be Serafina-188?
