Came down to a missed FG. Allen and the rest ofvthe Bills did what they had to against a great Chiefs team. Somebody had to lose.

This is unbelievable….Pat Mahomes has led KC to 6 straight AFC Championship games. Even I’m stunned KC made it this far.

Honestly their team this year is pretty Mid compared to previous years. They've gotten lucky a ton.

They made their own luck. But I agree their offense isn't as good as it has been. There defense is better though.

Whose call was the fake punt on the Bills cause that's where it turned.

When the report that came out with his embrace of Islam, it put the Bills on a winning path, only to ultimatley lose again. I wonder if McDermott remains HC next season.

Where do you place a fumble out the end zone? You can't line up in the end zone. That is part of the problem.

What's to stop a team from "fumbling" to get it at the 1 yard line every time?

IMHO I would go with if a fumble with forward progress goes out of bounds/ exits the end zone, the ball is placed where it was lost. But still ... That will be abused.

Well with the Holy Roller rule, you can make forward progress with a fumble but only if the fumbling player is the one who recovers it. Not so easy to fumble a ball to the 1 yard line unless you are basically there already. Otherwise its either a dead ball or, if recovered by anyone other than the fumbler for a loss of yards, a dead ball at the spot of recovery.

The rule has weirdly led to safeties where a team fumbles, the ball goes backwards into their own end zone, and another teammate recovered it.

Anyhow. That means if a fumbled ball enters the end zone, there are only two outcomes - touchback for the opposing team or loss of down. Either way, if someone on your team fumbles then you want to recover it by any means. I am good with it.

Yeah... I support the rule as is, even if the Chiefs almost paid for it, simply because it makes the “reach for the TD” maneuver a high-risk, high-reward deciding, and gives the defense about the only acceptable outcome for the opponent fumbling the ball out of the end zone.

I find it hard that the Bills would fire McDermott because his kicker shanked a field goal.

Mahomes and Kelce have passed Brady & Gronkowski for most playoff TDs after this game. A stat showed that Brady had made 8 straight AFC Championship games and before this Ken Stabler and Pat Mahomes had 5 apiece. Now Mahomes passed the Snake.

I have an acquaintance who is a Lions fan. So his weekend was celebratory. I know someone else who is a Bills fan, so hopefully someone did a welfare check on her.

That's what I said, If it happens like yesterday, a man fumbles the ball, it goes into the endzone and out, place the ball at the point of the fumble. There are no fumbles in the other teams endzone, because once you break the plane, it's a TD. If that ball had gone out on the Bill's 1 yard line, it's still KCs ball. It is a dumb rule.

I think the same if you fumble near your own endzone and it goes out in the endzone. Place it at the one. Now fumbling while in your own endzone is different, that might be a safety.

Well, if people want to call Mahomes the New Brady, he has certainly got the "crushing the hopes and dreams of Bills fans" part down.

    lol….

I saw a clip of a Buffalo Bills fan crying after the missed FG. I was like….man that reminds me of when Lin Elliot back in 1995 missed a couple in the divisional playoff game against the Colts. Costing KC the game.

KC was underdogs this weekend and they are underdogs against Baltimore ahead. Ravens have a great team. So I wish KC luck but well , they have over performed where they are right now.

Yeah, good as they are, KC isn't going to take the Ravens. My pick for the SB title.
