Sure, Andy Reid made adjustments during halftime, that was to be expected, but the Birds' defense couldn't get even ONE goddamn stop in the second half as the Chiefs scored on ALL five of their possessions. If the Birds had managed to keep Patrick Mahomes and company out of the end zone just ONCE, they win that game. And I don't want to hear **** about the bad field affecting Philly, Kansas City had to play on it too. As for Gannon, from what I've seen and heard, he's already looking like a buffoon who might not last more than two seasons in the desert.
Year 1 is looking like Monti Ossenfort & Jonathon Gannon are working on house money. They would have to be embarrassingly inept, losing week after week and BADLY to get fired. Including against all those "winnable" games I listed.

I think their ceiling is 6, 7 wins tops this year. Floor should be 2 or 3. They'll probably land at 5-12 or 4-13.

I wouldn't say McVay is on the hotseat. If he leaves, its most likely going to be on his own terms. Look at the abomination that was Jeff Fisher, and how long it took the organization to get rid of him. The Rams organization is anything but trigger happy when it comes to their coaching staff.

Speaking as a fan, I certainly wouldn't blame him if he leaves. He got us the championship we wanted, and the gamble with the draft paid off. No one really though we were building a dynasty. (Although it would be nice to get more wins this year!)

SO Chandler Jones went on a crazy Instagram binge (which has since been deleted) complaining about the Raiders ie McDaniels and Ziegler. He also mentioned he wants to Pow Wow with AB and Aldon Smith -which too me is code for he needs mental health.

ADMIST ALL THIS....Jimmy G just restructured his contract to free $17 Million dollars in Cap space....

Ziggy is cooking something....not sure what though.

    I just read that!

He was a large part of my childhood and adult sports life.

During this years draft Mortenson sadly was not in good health as he barely spoke. It was more like ESPN was giving him one last NFL Draft to be part of to give him that end run before he retired.

With the regular season kicking off tomorrow I don't know how KC will do. Kelce avoided a serious injury and will be a game time decision now. But Mahomes again has an unproven WR room he has to lead now. The team really is going again with a spread the wealth approach at WR.

Chris Jones is demanding $10+ million more than what KC wants to give. So no idea how his absence will hurt.

Offensive line is a question mark as usual.

If Andy Reid is smart, he exercises caution and holds Kelce out of tomorrow's game. I'm sure the Chiefs can beat Detroit without him.

Detroit was looking good at the end of last season. They were really clicking. I'm thinking Kelce won't play to make sure he's 100% for the rest of season. Kelce wants to play years longer to get a shot at Gonzalez TE records. He's like 5,000+ yards away from it.

I'm sorry, but, it's hard to say "Detroit" and "good" in the same breath without laughing out loud. Call it bias after years and years of Lions futility, but, that's what it is!

They finished last year 8-2 from November to January. In fact they handed Aaron Rodgers a loss in his last game as a Packer.

Kelce had an MRI on his knee. There was no ACL injury but he does have a bone bruise.

I very much doubt he plays tomorrow night.
