yeah that part doesnt track with me. I wish they had said he was using an image inducer or acknowledged SOS bc it is a glaring plot hole here

I don't remember if Destiny voted for or against but if she did vote for it maybe it's not a plot hole but a seed for humans to distrust Orchis.

She didn't have a vote since Mystique killed her. It was Xavier, Hope, Exodus, Emma and Destiny without a vote. Storm, Mystique and Kate voting against. Shaw, Selene, Piotr and Kurt (via Piotr) voting for.

How many people know what Sinister looks like though? Its possible they simply explained what happened rather than showed what happened.

For me it's not only the looking like Sinister, it's the "definitely not human looking" part that baffles me.

I really dont see why that even matters. Mankind knows what Sinister did. Having a Sinister clone be the face of Orchis should be enough to have them not trust Orchis

No evidence for this, just a wild guess, but what if Kate is the first to discover/realize that Firestar is with Orchis as a double-agent? Somebody has to be Anjelica's "handler" for the X-Men at some point, right?

That's what I'm thinking. The fight between them would be the initial tension of their story but then Kate could end up being the one Firestar feeds information to. Then there's the new tension of them possibly getting caught every time they meet, especially with how "sloppy" Kate has been according to Synch.
