I didn't understand your comment, it's the current past of the DC heroes, it's on the main continuity, so it has modern technology, I mean, if it's currently 2023, then at the time of the teen titans, it should be around 2011? 2010? Smart phones and the social networks already existed!

Yeah, this is basically the classic Teen Titans, but with the tech levels of Waid's previous teen book Champions (which started in 2016), because it's set in the 21st century, not the 1960s. The World's Finest books are set in the silver age, but the original silver age stories now take place post 9/11.

I loved Garth on this issue, he was great! I'm excited to read more of his development in this comic and I'm curious about Donna's reaction at the end and what is she thinking?

For sure Mark Waid knows how to write these boys, really enjoyed.

What I can't totally understand is this entire World's Finest concept. As well for the main title i'm a little confused on how those events fit in the main continuity.
Watching these group of teens handling smart phones and visit social networks or Dick wearing long pants means that these are not flashback stories, DC is rewritng Teen Titans past in a modern way? If so, how could old stories count at the same time?

All Titans are around 29-early 30s age bracket so they have tech in their childhood with sliding timeline. This is equal to 2010-2012 in their world I think.

I have to wonder if Roy has bad taste, or deliberately put Garth in such loud clothes on purpose as a joke. Roy doesn't dress like that.
