Default Which adaptation original female minion of Lex Luthor's is your favorite?

Superman adaptations have an interesting gimmick of giving Lex a female minion who serves a variety of roles for him (personal assistant, driver, bodyguard, assassin, etc) Which one was your favorite?

    The list:

Eve Teschmacher (Superman: The Movie and Superman II)

    Mrs. Cox (Lois & Clark)

Mercy Graves (Superman: The Animated Series)

    Kitty Kowalski (Superman Returns)

    Tess Mercer (Smallville)

I’d go with Mercy Graves, on the basis that a) she’s one of the more genuinely formidable and dangerous candidates (the arm candy ones just feel kind of pointless to me), and b) her name is so damn good I think it’s why she has so many other adaptations (including Tess Mercer).
Like action, adventure, rogues, and outlaws? Like anti-heroes, femme fatales, mysteries and thrillers?

I wrote a book with them. Outlaw’s Shadow: A Sherwood Noir. Robin Hood’s evil counterpart, Guy of Gisbourne, is the main character. Feel free to give it a look: https://read.amazon.com/kp/embed?asi...E2PKBNJFH76GQP

Mercy's awesome but I like how Supergirl adapted Ms. Teschmacher.

Mercy is the only one I’ve ever cared about, and her name is punny

And this is where I pull out the "why not both" meme.

Different henchwomen have different roles. it's not like Lex is a pleb who can only afford one henchwoman.

I know, right?! Lex can even make one, like when he created the "LoisBot"

Ditto. She was good on STAS and they gave her good character growth into JL. The comic and DCEU versions did nothing for me, though.

I’ve enjoyed the recent use of Mercy in Tynion’s Hell Arisen, Lazarus Planet, and Williamson Superman. Even Taylor wrote a good Mercy in his SOKE Annual. I think to really make Mercy break out, we need to see why she’s so loyal to Lex. What’s the origin of that and why does it endure despite Lex’s failures?

I feel like Williamson is featuring her enough that he might dive into it.

There were a number outside of those as well. I remember Superman comics in the 70s tried to give Lex a Teschmacher-like henchwoman and the Ruby Spears cartoon had a character called Ms. Morganberry.
No matter how many reboots, new origins, reinterpretations or suit redesigns. In the end, he will always be SUPERMAN

All of them under a "Lex's Angels" motif where they loyally work for him.

The twist would be these are all women that Lex does not romance at all (tho *most* of them may be in varying degrees of unrequited love and/or lust with him).

Mercy Graves, Lena Luthor, Eve Tessmacher, Kitty Kowalski, Gretchen Kelley, Jessica Morganberry, Mrs. Cox, all together under Lex's roof.

I have to go with one not on the list. Darla from the Superboy TV show.

She win me over when Lex went missing and her solution was simply "Do what Lex would do" which was to kidnap Lana Lang. Nope, no plan beyond that- just kidnap Lana.

I always had a soft spot for Ms Teschmacher anyway, but damn Supergirl turned her into a genuinely viable character!!
