    Default Final Crisis: Revelations

So I was reading Final Crisis: Revelations the other day pretty good book but there is a few things I didn't understand

1 did Cain posses Vandal Savage or are they the same person? If they are different why was it Savage body they chose?

2 what happened to cains original body if they are 2 different people didn't he say he couldn't be killed?

3 was cain working for Darkseid?

4 what was the connection Between Darkseid and the brother hood of stone?

5 what was happening whan cain was putting The Spectre under the control of the the Anti-Life Equation?

6 what did this have to do with Final Crisis?

I think that it waa pushed out as Final Crisis tie-in to get higher sales. Same for Red Lanterns and Legion.

The Spear of Destiny impaling Vandal Savage brought Cain back and he took up residence in Vandal Savage's body. Did the version you read have The Words of Lilith in the beginning? That explains a bunch. With the spear, it was prophesied Cain would "remake creation for a New God, he who dwells in Darkness, deep in the Abyss." AKA Darkseid. The Order of the Stone were devotees of the Crime Bible, which taught veneration of crime and how to live a life of crime and sin. It's also what prophesied Cain returning and paving the way for Darkseid. The Spear of Destiny enabled Cain to make the Spectre into a slave. The Words of Lilith prophesied the spear would "unmake the Old God, and make slaves of his children and servants, mortal and spectre alike."

I don't think that's the version of Cain that Greg Rucka had in mind.

No that Cain specifically said in an issue of Sandman their story wasn't on Earth when the story of Cain/Abel happened.

Yes. There's also Clockwerx from an issue of Walt Simonson's Orion who was also meant to be Cain.

Final Crisis was the first event where I went all in on. Bought every crossover and tie-in. Wanted to enjoy it so badly. Quickly realized that unless it was written by Morrison, it had nothing to do with it or would even contradict things. Never did that again with an event.

Also didn't help that the main series was mediocre.
