Default Did Superman show up in the Batman 66 comic?

So, apparently there's a new Superman action figure coming out based on the Batman 66 comic. Did he ever show up in the comic?

I haven't a clue. But if it's 1966, then that ought to be Bob Holiday as Superman/Clark Kent--who was appearing on Broadway in IT'S A BIRD…IT'S A PLANE…IT'S SUPERMAN. Which would be fitting since the musical had the same campy flavour as the T.V. BATMAN. The McFarlane toy looks kind of like Bob, except that when he changed to Superman he had the spit curl. The hobbyist can fix this with a simple application of Testors flat black model paint, using your Winsor & Newton Series 7 size #1 Kolinsky sable brush, in an S motion--Cap's Hobby Hints.

I have no idea who the model for the character was. I first assumed it was supposed to be George Reeves but it doesn't look much like him. The face model looks like they had a particular actor in mind but I can't tell who it is.
