Default Hey Karma fans, shouldn’t her younger siblings be Academy X age by now?

As in, old enough to be teen age for training?
    Same with Leech and Artie.

Marvel seems to have forgotten they exist.

They were still kids during Academy X's era, and I wouldn't be surprised if they kept them as kids so Karma doesn't feel older. But who knows, maybe because they're so ignored, Marvel will let them age despite keeping Karma young? Like how characters Franklin's age lapped him.

Weren't the Monet twins, who for some reason now run around looking like Penance, also in that age range?

BTW, are the names Leong and Nga in need of adjustment ala X'ian becoming Xuân. Beyond Cao being traded in for Coy.

I wonder what their powers would be?
We've seen them aged up with nebulous power gestalt power set as Template by Mojo and Spiral and getting techno-organic powers when aged up and tampered with by Viper and Spiral in the BEAST miniseries (stealth Karma mini).

First rule of comics aging: Don't think about it!

That being said, I'd love to see all of these twin younger relatives of X-characters do something (Leong/Nga, Gailyn/Joey, Claudette/Nicole).

Jean should have put her niece and nephew in the resurrection queue.
But I guess it would have been cruel to resurrect Joey and Gailyn without their parents and grandparents.

I wouldn't mind seeing Leech, in particular, aged up to at least young teen. (Fine, Artie too, but I never liked him...)

Leong and Nga aged up and with powers reminiscent of their Template powers, to evolve and refine other mutants powers (and bodies) could be a fun twist on the Cortez/Chance/Khora 'power enhancer' power-set.

(Liang or Luong seem more common than 'Leong', and both are shared names between Chinese and Vietnamese heritage, and also more usually a surname, so not super-appropriate, if my Google info is not utter rubbish... Nga, which can mean beautiful or good, appears to be a legit Vietnamese name.)

I don't even want to think about what sort of powers Claudette and Nicole are going to have, since Monet has established that one can being a flying telepath tank *and* a 'Penance...'

And then there's the other gaggle of Guthries. Melody has a 'flight aura' (pretentious way of saying 'flight,' or can she fly other things or people in her 'flight aura?'). Elizabeth *might* be a size-changer (AU Elizabeth was in the Age of Apocalypse). Jeb can shoot 'harmless' blue electro-fire-something (is it always harmless? Is it fire? Is it electricity? Is it an illusion? Is it telepathic projection? Who knows!). Joelle and Cissy and Lewis and the tenth kid *who never even got named* might or might not even be mutants!

Have Leon and Nga been identified as mutants yet? Darla (Jubilee I)?

    Is Artie still depowered?

In New Mutants Annual #2 they were temporarily aged up and had mutant powers.

I liked Alfie / Straight Arrow with his mutant power to never miss the best of those three from the Wildways issue, although Darla / Jubilee and Butch / Snitch were also neat. Jubilee's power to create fireworks and colorful lightshows was so cool that she lost both her name *and* her powers to a new Jim Lee character a few years later.

The age thing in comics is super weird but I see no reason to object to seeing more of these two. Especially if they are mutants. Have them hang out with Domino's little brother who we also never see.
