True, Alex and Maddie hooked up in OG Inferno circa 1989 and Jean and Scott married in 1994. However Madelyne and Scott were married in 1983 - making Alex and Maddie in-laws back then.
What would we call the relationship between Alex and Maddie (Jean's clone "sister") once Cyke and Jean tied the knot?

Did Dark Web turn Maddie into this? Or is this 'caring' character somewhat of a new take?

It seems like she felt Jean's death and that may be what has created the change within her and the new snowy landscape.
