DC tasks you with reintroducing Jack Knight into the main line DC books, how would you do it?

I wouldn't. Jack's story has been told, he got his happy ending, and that's it.
Maybe he could come back for a cameo but that's about it.
Jack's story is done. He walked away from the hero life. Let the character be.
Is any story ever truly over though? DC could reveal that Jack has transitioned genders in the time since we last seen him- I mean her.
I think eventually somebody is going to bring back Jack in the present day continuity. I asked How he should be brought back not If.
Didn't we recently have a thread where the idea of Jack Knight being brought back was discussed?
And to answer your question: he shouldn't be brought back.
Johns added Kyle Knight to his JSA run. He was apart of Helena Wayne's makeshift JSA as the Mist. I'd bring back Jack as Kyle's reluctant mentor. Jack doesn't approve of Kyle's turn but decides to help him anyway.

I don't think it's a good idea. James Robinson, if he was so inclined, could convince me otherwise though.
I’ll don the mask and wear the cape
If I am super, how can I wait?
I would prefer if they create a brand new Starman and play with the theme of legacy and history just like James Robinson did.
It would be cool to have a cameo of Jack and his son though.
