Last Ride was a big 7 story and that was pretty good even though it was an Elseworlds.

If I was restarting JL, I'd get what ever the legacy number would be for the next issue. Yes, I know, YMMV. At this point the book as an ongoing does not come back, but instead it's a series of mini-series each having different creative teams and line-ups handling a single story or event. Stories could overlap and even skip the occasional month or two.

Why? I think because they know JLA will sell ok but want to push (Teen) Titans to the forefront without a distraction.

I think it’s good that DC is giving the team a break and attempting to give other teams a chance to step up.

I’ve already dropped Taylor’s Titans series. I don’t have high hopes for Beast Wars. Despite having a great artists attached the premise sounds hokey. I would love it if he expanded the roster. Tired of the same old NTT lineup.

JSA has been plagued by lateness and it’s kind of in its own Johns run corner of the DCU.

I’m loving the Doom Patrol mini series and I hope keeps having them play a bigger role.

When the League does come back I hope the shake up the roster a bit.

I liked when: Batman led the League; Superman led the League; WW led the League. When all three were on full time--post crisis--it became formulaic and the personal development and non Big Name characters kind of just evaporated. Ultimately, I liked when there were JLQs, 80 page Giants, Annuals, and different League teams best. But I don’t know that such can be recaptured as the magic was watching the characters grow and now mostly everything from COIE has been undone and all the heroes are early 20s. I am still waiting for a major payoff...

That's rather muddled due to book changing names several times, and since New 52, JLA being a second book to JL. So it depends what you count. Let's work it out based on the primary Justice League book (the layout I'm using is the same as the Marvel Legacy numbering sheets from a few years ago).

    #1-261 - Justice League of America (1960-1987) #1-261
    #262-267 - Justice League (1987) #1-6
    #268-287 - Justice League International (1987-1989) #7-25
    #288-375 - Justice League America (1989-1996) #26-113
    #376-378 - Justice League: A Midsummer's Nightmare (1996) #1-3
    #379-494 - JLA (1997-2006) #1-125
    #495-556 - Justice League of America (2006-2011) #0-60
    #557-609 - Justice League (2011-2016) #1-12, 0, 13-52
    #610 - Justice League: Rebirth (2016) #1
    #611-653 - Justice League (2016-2018) #1-43
    #654-729 - Justice League (2018-2022) #1-75

So unless I messed up my maths, any relaunch would be LGY #730.
