Good Marvel characters- Bring Them Back!!!
Again from the opening minutes during the one scene of Spidey in costume doing typical Spidey things. The rest of it with him in costume is bathed in darkness brooding (the VFX rain shots are nice!), in dark warehouses/bedrooms, or him in a graveyard. Too many shots in the movie are just closeups/chest-up, there's little visual variety in the compositions.
This!! All this, and someone that's watched the film notices these things, as opposed to someone that is picking and choosing specific shots when it looks good to try to push like it's a good film or a great special effects film.
I can do that too and pull up the car scene.
But this is far more important
I just found the first shot where he wasn't swinging that that wasn't a close-up.
Good Marvel characters- Bring Them Back!!!
Why are so many of these fan films such drama p*rns? I suppose it is a consequence of rookie filmmakers' desire for their movies to be taken seriously.
99% of the time, the drama aspects fail due to shitty writing, and thus those aspects just come off as stifling.
The production quality regarding costume design, cgi and and art on the other hand is quite good of course.
