Where are Black Tom and Mondo?

The dissapearence of Cypher by Krakoa is being treated as kind of a big deal since the rest of the mutants cannot communicate with the island, but it has been shown that both Black Tom and Mondo have "communed" with Krakoa on a regular basis, so why not use one of them to try to talk to it?

Black Tom was brought up in an interview with Percy last week.

"Is that Black Tom on the cover of X-Force #43? Will he have a bigger presence in this story? And if so, what do you find most interesting about Tom?

Black Tom is so much fun to write. I'll only say that he's especially important because of his link/communication/synergy with Krakoa."
