Other than Tony Stark not being in the Iron Man suit for most of the movie how was it a "train wreck"? I thought the film was okay and better than Iron Man 2 IMO

Save Iron Man for now. Don't rush any new solo movies. Wait until after Avengers 3, if it is "legit" for Tony to have another story, so be it. But I'm personally wanting War Machine to get his own outlet, with Tony as a guest star.

Is that really an accomplishment though? To me, none of the Iron Sequels have lived up to the first movie. I like RDJ chewing scenery but I'm not sure I care that much about the character Tony Stark to want to see another solo adventure. Let them spotlight other characters now, I'm good with Iron Man in The Avengers.

My only problem with it was that Kingston's talents were wasted on being the fake Mandarin.

And I actually thought 2 was the best of the trilogy.

If they plan on doing a Civil war movie then you bring back IM4
Good God, if they did a Civil War movie and did it well, the awesomeness could be off the scale. It's probably impossible though since to be done right it would have to bring in Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four and others and they're with other production companies. I don't think there would be enough characters just from the Avengers movies to make it worth the effort.

But if it COULD be done, and in time for Downey to still be young enough, how many of you would be in favor and would love to see Downey and Evans just utterly beat the tar out of each other?

Zero interest in civil war on film. It sucks in the comics , it will suck in the movies. Don't need the MCU to go down the dark and grim path , leave that to DC and warners.

Can't help but be a little disappointed with no IM4 but so glad he will be Tony Stark in the next 2 Avengers movies.

    Very little interest.
    I co-host a podcast about comics. Mostly it's X-Men comics of the 90's.
