    Default Return of Clan Destine!

Hi who remembers Clan Destine? The X-Men had a mini once with them and they had a short lived series of their own. They were simply forgotten by Marvel after that.

But now,.... in Love Unlimited, Rogue and Gambit ran into one of the Clan Destine members, one we did not meet in that mini though, but this looks promising.

Let us hope we will see more of this and of course outside the Love Unlimited series as well.

We need Argent, Wallop, Crimson Crusader, Imp and the others back in the spotlight

Probably cause of the Ms Marvel show. They were one of the main antagonists there. I don't know if they were similar to the actual clandestine though.

No, the Clan who appeared in Ms. Marvel's Disney+ series were completely different from the comics. The only similarity was the name.

Marvel needs to print these digital issues with more regularity. I keep hearing about issues like this that I would like to read.

I googled Maurice after reading Love 64 and he looks different from this version. There he was a rather big and burly red haired man. He also died under Alan Davis pen.

All of Clan Destine is up on Marvel unlimited. I plan to reread the ongoing from 94-95. Then the X-men crossover and finally the series Alan Davis did in 2008'ish, which I never did pickup then.

Yes, I remember the Clan Destine and their mini. The X-Men Clan Destine.
I don't remember much, I just remember the X-Men and the Clan Destine both being trapped in the Danger Room.

Looking them up, they've apparently appeared a few more time.

And they were the weakest part of the show.

The original ClanDestine miniseries is such an underrated gem and probably features the most polished Alan Davis art ever. With a few pen strokes and lines of dialogue, Davis established a compelling premise and interesting characters which unfortunately never found commercial success.

I would be down to see them return and interact with the wider Marvel Universe, aside from the material mentioned in the posts above and a couple of appearances in Claremont's Fantastic Four run at the end of the 90's, they have been mostly forgotten by Marvel.

I know, right?! If they ever were brought back, let's hope that Alan Davis is fully involved

Clan Destine was great. I feel like it’s purpose was to be like an open fan fix published by Marvel in that the ‘family’ can be any old npc or background character that can have focus on him as long as their in proximity to the core characters. You yourself could very well come up with a clandestine family member and they would only continue the narrative.
