Who is your favorite Green Lantern of space sector 2814?

Prior to Geoff Johns taking over the series in the mid 2000s, I would have answered this with John Stewart. Primarily, it is because of the influence of the Justice League/Justice League Unlimited animated series, where John Stewart was a very prominent character in the show.

However, before that, I would have said Hal Jordan, as he was the only Green Lantern I was familiar with. The only thing I know about Guy Gardner was that he was punched in the face by Batman. As for Kyle Ryner, my only exposure to him was in that one animated episode on Superman the animated series.

After Geoff Johns's illustrious, and Green Lantern mythology altering run, hands down it is Hal Jordan for me.

He is an interesting character in his own right, has a unique look both in and out of uniform. And he sits quietly in the sidelines whenever the Green Lantern fanbase decides to have an argument. It may be because no one cares about him, but it's all the same to me.

I would just LOVE if Simon ended up being the Lantern who makes into the DC Movieverse, just because it would shut evryone up.... Well, actually it wouldn't, but everyone would at least be united in their complaints.

I grew up with Hal as Green Lantern on Earth-1, so he gets my vote. John Stewart is a close second, though.

He looks pretty much the part, even the origin is basically the same.

I do miss Jade and Obsidian though, shame that we probably won't ever get that promising Infinity Inc. title with them.
