Watched the first two episodes of this. The show captures the spirit of Adventure Time. It does its higher age rating well ( TV 14) without making things dark and edgy for the sake of being dark and edgy. Really enjoyed it.

It was okay. Both episodes were set up episodes, which is good IMO, fleshing out the characters and their situations before things get rolling. I haven't seen all the Adventure Time episodes so hopefully it will be mostly self contained with shout outs that aren't plot specific.
I'm guessing there's going to be some kind of mental time loop thing, where the Ice King writes his stories based on the show and it's characters.Sounds perfect.
