Heh. I vaguely remember the old days when I was a little kid and the had bowl games named like the Orange Bowl rather than the "insert corporate name bowl", and the national championship was decided by the two polls rather than this way. Probably should have put that in the unpopular opinions thread if there is one. But I really do miss those days. Also, I sort of do want to see a TV series about "Fansville" with the cast and situation from those commercials. Dr. Pepper did put together a funny series of ads there.

Does the Georgia loss make Michigan #1?

Michigan or Washington will probably be number 1...

The four playoff teams are Michigan Washington Alabama Texas. Florida State went 13 and 0 but got left out, probably due to Alabama beating Georgia and Texas beating Alabama.

That is some ratings driven BS. Bama is in because they are better for viewership. Texas beat Alabama, that should put them out and FSU should be in.
By their logic, Georgia should be in, the were higher rated most of the year and only lost to Alabama.

Brian Ferentzs last game as the Iowa OC and the team didn't score a single point, thankfully he's been fired already so he won't be back and maybe the Iowa offense won't rank dead last again.

Aside from that Michigan beat Alabama in overtime to get to the championship against either Texas or Washington.

Unless there's a miracle Michigan will win the championship as they're leading by 20 with just under 2 minutes left.

Well, they are indeed the best there is at what they do, and what they do is apparently play football and stomp on Washington.
