Default X-men unlimited 103. Frenzy alone time

This is a flash back to 2 weeks before the galla, she still dead

Jumbo is making frenzy her costume. Flash back in to flash back

Frenzy is helping diplomats acclimate to arakko culture by violence beating them.

The skull paibok needs her help.

He takes her to a Picnic?
He wants to help her relax.
She has trouble with that, and lived most her life surviving moment to moment.

She dosnt want to be joanna and make her self variable.

Paibok says it not good to keep this pace up and run herself in to the ground and he's making time for "joanna" because she deserves time to relax

She agrees and extends the picnic a few more minutes.

Frenzy: a frew more minute and back to work I have a species to protect. Don't tell anyone about this.
    Paibok: ok.

    Next issue Dazzler.

This was a very sweet story and the brief glimpse into Frenzy's past stirred some emotions. I like what Stephanie Williams said on X: "Even the nearly invulnerable need soft places to exist."

Really cute. Again, I would have prefered if it dealt a tiny bit more with her decision to join the team. I can see how this story would inform her choice to step back from Arakko, but it lacks the tiny link.

Omg did Stephanie Williams write this Frenzy story? Her Nubia stories were some of the best I've read in a while. Love her.

Yup, she and Steve Foxe co-wrote the X-Men candidate stories. Dazzler's story is next.

This was very nice. Need more Joanna please. There is a lot to work with. Would you believe someone I came across said minority superhero characters never have bad parents?

Gentle’s mother definitely disowned him at one point. But yeah it’s a weird point to make cause most superhero parents are in the ground.

It's very possible I misunderstood but the impression I got from the person was that they felt only white people are ever depicted as being bad parents when it comes to comic heroes. But if the majority of heroes are still white, isn't that just a matter statistics?
