I am really surprised they have not done a modern revamp of Buck Rogers in the 25th Century yet. With todays tech you could do an mazing looking show on even a TV budget.

Kind of surprised that Bubblegum Crisis hasn't gotten another attempt at a revival, although that could be due to rights issues.
It seems City Hunter and Cat's Eye have everything except a new TV anime series. Yeah, and BSG and Walking Dead showing an extended post-apocalypse will sell, you could probably do something closer to the source material. (except for the part where you'll need to make the villains something other than east asians, like mutants maybe)
