The 90s JL and JLU were inspired by that.
However for straight up LoD they lean in that hard on the more adult themed Harley Quinn that show on MAX.
An all ages reboot of SuperFriends would be nice to see now.

Hopefully this counts, but my next choice would be...

    X-Men: Evolution

Probably wasting bytes here, but if you haven't read it, Alex Ross' Justice is probably the best interpretation of CotSF we ever got. Runner up would go to the last season of Justice League Unlimited.

I'd be up for a spiritual successor with the Academy X kids like Surge, Prodigy, Hellion etc.

I'd be up for a remake of a short-lived '80s show called The Master. It featured Lee Van Cleef as a World War II vet who studied Ninjutsu in Japan and then discovers that he has a daughter in the States and she's in some sort of trouble. He then breaks away from his Ninja Clan and sets off in search of his daughter whilst being pursued by a Ninja assassin (played by Sho Kusugi). It was similar in style to The Incredible Hulk TV show but unfortunately only ran for 13 episodes.

MST3K lampooned a few episodes of the series that were put into movie compilations.

I have the Absolute edition of Justice. LOVED IT. Seen all of JLU, just want more LOD vs SF/JL.

Justice is probably my single favorite JL story by anyone (although Tornado's Path really rang my bells when it came out).

How about some fantasy series that weren't very lucky with previous adaptations:

    The Dark Is Rising
    Eragon
    Earthsea

Longer TV series this time, like His Dark Materials.
