I am at work and can't do this. But I think the ultimate connected cover would be the series The Solution from Ultraverse. The whole mini series 1st issue was covers, I think.

Yeah, yeah, yeah; it's awkward and weird.
Cerebus 291-300 supposedly by Dave Sim, but let's be honest. It's mostly Gerhard.
Additionally, 291-297 connect. 298 is a darker version of 297. 298 connects with 299 and 300 is a closer look at 299 with more lighting.
