Anyone read this or check it out?
Enjoyed it - and kinda disappointed Elsa has never really had her own book or even a definitive story.

I liked it and the art was really good, I was bummed at the end I thought it was a mini.
It's a shame Kelly Thompson left Marvel before she could do an Elsa solo.
Where did her and Jack hook up?
Elsa was introduced in a four issue mini written by Abnett & Lanning, drawn by Michael Lopez and Thomas Derenick (issue 4) that debuted in 2001. Unfortunately, getting ahold of those issues is a bit harsh as they are not cheap on ebay. (Fortunately, I bought them when they were released.)

I have them from when they came out originally also. I've long wanted to see another series that explores her time between that series and her next appearances in Nextwave. Explain how she changed so drastically, and apparently now spent time with her father... and even have her first meet Cullen Bloodstone.
I was fortunate enough to pick up the Bloodstone mini at a convention for a song, right around the time Monsters Unleashed was coming out but before she was confirmed as appearing in the Werewolf By Night special on Disney+. It's a fun series, but she's definitely more cut from the Buffy cloth there. Nextwave really did a lot of the heavy lifting to make her the Elsa everyone knows and loves today.
As for this one-shot, I thought it was fantastic...art and story went so well together, and the color v. black-and-white aspect worked really well for me. I'd love to see Jack and Elsa get their own ongoing series by this team.
I finally read this last night after picking it up last week.
A truly fun story with solid art. I like how the duality of the story played through the first 1/3 of the story. The dialoge was then more in sync then the last few parting panels the duality returned and was a bit sad at their separation.
King of All Wolves deserves at the minimum a rotating series of minis like they've done the last few years. Be it 4/5/6 issues.
So, Elsa was a blonde in her debut? Did not know that.
