Does the existence of the MCU make it any less true that Tony Stark is always portrayed as being older than Peter Parker and that the opposite is kind of jarring?

An older Peter possibly mentoring a younger Tony Stark could be interesting.

I wonder if the girl is going to be Mayday or a new variant of the Parkers having a daughter. Will the son be named "Ben?"

It's probably going to be Mayday. Across the Spider-Verse already cemented her as Peter's daughter for mass audience, so, don't see a point in changing her name.

Good! I’ve never asked for everything to be safe, wholesome vibes, I’m perfectly fine with the soap opera aspects of Spidey carrying over to his married life. I want tension and danger and stress, I just want to also feel like Peter is continuing to grow instead of running in place like 616 Peter.

It depends on who will follow "troubled teenager" trope.

It's kind of funny how both kids got MJ's hair and eyes. Actually if Peter only got bit later in this then it's possible the kids don't have spider-powers either if he's already had a family by this point.

Yeah, "safe and wholesome" is not something I would ascribe to Hickman, but I don't expect it'll be misery porn either.

All the same it does carry a different vibe compared to a lot of the stuff he's written recently.
