616 Gwen wasn't ever really written as into anything except Peter and her father. It was the 60s. Writing for women has thankfully marched on. In so far as she was into anything other than the men in her life it was science. She was depicted as going to a science exhibition once by herself, so that she could think Peter was a coward for running off when the villain attacks, but she was there.
