Did Warren Worthington III know of him when he took the Angel identity?

Inspired by Two-Gun Kid and the inspiration behind the original Scourge organization. Lots of connections to a pretty minor character.

I don't know if I'd call a character that had a regular feature in Marvel Mystery Comics for seven years "minor".
He also had a regular feature in the first 21 issues of Sub-Mariner's comic book, as well as features that showed up in a few other titles.

Plus, he did rate a few covers in the Golden Age.

You're right... but I guess I think of any golden age character that isn't in the Invaders/All-Winners Squad as minor.
