I’ve been assuming that the Clayton Henry Superman book would be with Waid, but maybe it’s with Aaron instead.

They’re not, I just think they should. I’m sure some thought Dick Grayson as Nightwing was never going to last either.

I don't think you could pull that off now, it was a whole bunch of factors that lead to Dick as Nightwing working that I don't see being replicated any time soon.

It prolly requires at least decent build-up to it.

Doesn't help that King's book was a while ago so Kara's kinda been in stasis since.

PKJ will also be on the Superman panel.

Problem is they keep doing books which advertise themselves as “we know X has been sidelined for a while but they’re coming off the bench and finding their direction” and then after the mini ends they go right back to the bench. At this point I would rather have a story start with Kon or Kara changing their name and explore the repercussions of that over a story ending with that.

Maybe they'll do something more relevant with Kara when her solo film will come out... if it'll ever get made.

Yes! there still is hope to keep PKJ a longer time. I am sure he and Waid has discussed the whole Aethir bussiness but it will be PKJ who will run with the story. Well, I wish that, to be honest.

Far as I know Dorn will not be there and there’s no more plans for any Steel solo minis. PKJ is using Steel over in his John Stewart book and he has hinted at plans for the Superfamily coming up - but there’s a chance he’s losing Action and the Superfamily “team” will be dissolving. If so, then it will be back to guest appearances and cameos for any Family members who don’t have their own books.

Maybe Aaron will use Steel in whatever he’s got cooking.

DC is relaunching the Elseworlds line
The new titles launching the reborn Elseworlds line are:

Gotham by Gaslight: The Kryptonian Age by Andy Diggle and Leandro Fernandez
Batman the Barbarian by The Human Target’s Greg Smallwood
Dark Knights of Steel: Allwinter by Jay Kristoff and Tirso Cons
Green Lantern: Dark by Tate Brombal and Werther Dell’Edera
Batman: Nightfire by Clay and Seth Mann
DC vs. Vampires: World War V by Matthew Rosenberg and Otto Schmidt
Diggle might be reusing that vampire vs. Superman storyline he had planned for New 52 Action here. Oh and we’ll get Steel and Supergirl in the DC vs. Vampires book, happy to have more Steel content.

Might give Dark Knights of Steel a try since Taylor isn’t writing it, but it depends on if it’s going to keep being the Batman show. Got no interest in that. They should do a bunch of minis about the DKOS Trinity off doing their own separate adventures.

    Apparently it's Deathstroke spin-off.
