It's a good idea indeed but given that Mikhail wants a mutant Russian nation, logic would have dictated that he controls Orchis from the start rather than his brother who in the end will have been of no use because of Fox and Vue. time it took percy to advance this arc.

Honestly this is probably the most exciting Xforce preview I've read in a while probably because it had absolutely nothing to do with the ineffectual Xforce team.

I miss characters being written competently.

I wish I had the patience and resolve to commit myself to rereading this run in its entirety, start to finish, when it concludes -- to really see how well this slow burn, long form, story telling lands (or not)

Poor Piotr. I figured Orori’s punk phase was meant to create space for him to become the X-Men’s key pacifist, but no-one ever seems to be interested in writing that. It’s Kurt who gets thrown endless curveballs as the X-Men’s moral heart.
