Kravens Last Hunt. When I read this it showed me a different side of comics I hadn't seen before. It left the biggest impression on me. A true masterpiece.

Just to add a different answer, it's not the best, but one of my favourite is The Superior Spider-Man #31. That close-up with Green Goblin saying "It's you" is incredible.

I could do without the man bag joke though. A man bag is flagged as a male equivalent of a female coded item. There's something about the equation of male dignity with not carrying female coded items that strikes me as unfortunate.

The 1990s clone saga. I know it's panned but that's around the time I got into comics and I loved crossovers at the time so I enjoyed this story.
