I feel like a big subplot of the first 2 seasons was Starscream's attempts at overthrowing Megatron, and that the series lost a step by killing him off. (The 2 episodes where he return as a ghost were great though, even with the shoddy AKOM animation.)
That's a great one to start out with, you also got two for the price of one! (I never owned Laserbeak as a child, so Buzzsaw had to fill in.)
"The White Queen welcomes you, TO DIE!"
The first issue was great. The art is fantastic and while nothing new to the story, It had some good energy.
I just wonder if I have to buy GI Joe too.
Kind of does.
I thought there was one during the Dreamwave era, I had the Soundwave one but I must be mixing up the memory.
Since I brought up the Dreamwave era, I had this poster hanging on my wall forever.
Went in storage after getting married, having kids, etc.
Just dug it out and hung it on the wall for my son. He's over the moon excited and keeps asking which version is which.
I'd say my favorite aspect to this comic was just how evil Starscream was. I know there's been a trend elsewhere to make you feel bad for Starscream or perhaps Megatron had a point but took things too far or whatever and I find that stuff just lame in comics in general. Starscream definitely felt like original recipe, evil self-absorbed and dangerous.
