I say bring him back as Goldbug. Like G.I. Joe find his remains and they rebuild him, sorta similarly to the Marvel Comics but different at the same time

Mine were Shockwave and Astrotrain - and since Astrotrain survived into season 3 and we never saw Shockwave's on-screen death, I was good, lol.
The Autobot deaths didn't really affect me at the time, yeah I was sad to see them die, but seeing Starscream get vaporized, and the other Seekers and Megatron get reformatted -- that struck me big time.
    And still does.
For me, Soundwave & Buzzsaw were the first in my collection.

I feel like a big subplot of the first 2 seasons was Starscream's attempts at overthrowing Megatron, and that the series lost a step by killing him off. (The 2 episodes where he return as a ghost were great though, even with the shoddy AKOM animation.)

That's a great one to start out with, you also got two for the price of one! (I never owned Laserbeak as a child, so Buzzsaw had to fill in.)

The first issue was great. The art is fantastic and while nothing new to the story, It had some good energy.

I just wonder if I have to buy GI Joe too.

I want the Blaster version of this poster if it exists. If it doesn't, it should.

    Kind of does.
I thought there was one during the Dreamwave era, I had the Soundwave one but I must be mixing up the memory.

Since I brought up the Dreamwave era, I had this poster hanging on my wall forever.
Went in storage after getting married, having kids, etc.
Just dug it out and hung it on the wall for my son. He's over the moon excited and keeps asking which version is which.

Thanks. Really the only two G1, US based Recordicons, missing are Grand Slam and Raindance.

I'd say my favorite aspect to this comic was just how evil Starscream was. I know there's been a trend elsewhere to make you feel bad for Starscream or perhaps Megatron had a point but took things too far or whatever and I find that stuff just lame in comics in general. Starscream definitely felt like original recipe, evil self-absorbed and dangerous.

Glad the Transformers are back but killing off my third favorite Autobot in the premiere issue ain't the best. For me has always gone Optimus, Grimlock, and Jetfire. Hopefully Slybound brings him back soon.

I know, right?! Why does he always get the short end of the stick...
