BTW, was nobody else amused by this panel of Egg(s)? (lol)

The data page mentions that the rest of the five have said they've only been there a few days.

Which flies in the face of everything else that has happened.

Combine that with the multiple Logans and Bishops that are clearly Mother Righteous creations. I'm positive none of the Five, besides Hope, is actually there.

Why is that hard to believe?

    Justice for the first mutant!
Lol. Using a character as a quick side villain doesn't mean they "dislike the character so much".

I'm not sure if this is a plot hole, or a hint that something is not quite right, but how did they resurrect a mutant without their DNA? I don't think they have the DNA library on them.

It's also kinda odd that the rest of the Five were just scattered in the desert. I'm not sure why I thought they were with the Realm of X team.

    Something seems off here.
Because they showed up in the first issue of RoX

This issue really amps up the stakes, there's so many mysteries converging on one another. What MR real intentions are, how the mutants all ended up in the WHR, Jean's appearance and direct reference of her current mini series, mutant resurrection in the WHR, Hope and Exodus' role in all this, and why do I think this is still the real Apocalypse (Revelation). Next issue can't come fast enough!

Thanks, then I was not misremembering.

In that case, there's three options:

    1) It's just an error and they shouldn't have been shown in RoX. Edit: The reason why they are only just now showing up is that MR was holding them captive and only released them now so Hope would thank her.

    2) They are in RoX and the ones in IXM are fakes created by "Satan"? Or Mother Righteous? Although, if that's the case, why would they say they've only been there for a few days? If they were meant to deceive the mutants then their story would make more sense.

    3) They were in RoX, but then they died, and that's how they ended up in the WHR. That would explain why they think they've only been there a few days (despite the Gala being weeks ago). Egg does say "I can't die again". He could just be referring to the time he died during Judgement Day, but maybe not? Jean is there too, and she definitely died. So maybe everyone is dead?

Do they have a way of feeding Proteus in that desert?

i think that was an error especially since they werent called out in the text. They'd be significant enough for the RoX team to notice and mention as they arent random nameless mutants

I just reread the first issue and I think you are right, it's an error. Hope is also in RoX, and she has been in the desert/WHR from the start.

    The good:

    - Xavier in Krakoa
    - Shaw with Selene
    - Exodus, Hope and Destiny
    - White Hot Room!!!
    - Apocalypse/Satan
    - The art (as usual)

    The bad:

    - Selene being dumb
    - Mother Righteous
    - Sinister cliff hanger?

Time flows differently in the WHR, last we were told it takes about a week for him to burn through his Xavier back ups. The Five have said they've only been there a few days but since the WHR exists outside of space and time he probably would be fine indefinitely.

Jean Grey in the words of Walt Whitman, from his masterpiece Leaves of Grass, "Song of Myself" (51 and 52):

"Do I contradict myself? Very well then I contradict myself, (I am large, I contain multitudes.)"

"Failing to fetch me at first keep encouraged, Missing me one place search another, I stop somewhere waiting for you."

    This was.....I don't know interesting.

I'm not sure how I feel about the White Hot Room being so easy to access. But, whatever. At least we know that's NOT the real Apocalypse.

And i'm sure Emma is going to be pissed Charles gave Shaw some access to get back into the Hellfire Club.

And DAMN Selene is staying catching L's
